01: Entering Slowly and Enormously

Hello there,

Thank you for signing up to receive my writing in your inbox every month. I figured I’d give this endeavour a name.

Welcome to Slowly and Enormously, meditations and essays on ordinary spaces that amuse me, and beckon with ideas softly, yet big-ly.
This is an unrushed, once-a-month-post where I contemplate (quite publicly) some moments in culture, some baffling and/or nurturing instances I find myself in, and solve life-pahelis, as I go on writing.

I’d rather my writing finds its way to you directly, than an algorithm failing to include it in its curation of dance reels. Hence, the choice in format and platform.

Now that you’re up to speed with the story, I hope we get to hop on this adventure together. I hope we can allow for it to bring us some of the characteristic rewards that often follow periods of uncertainty: wonder, curiosity, comfort, and a welcoming unsettlement that can probe change.
